PORTISHEAD SHANTY FESTIVAL SUCCESS
40 visiting boats attended The Portishead Shanty Festival at the weekend to bolster the local numbers. The festival was started by the BCYA and is now run by the Portishead Lifeboat Crew in conjunction with the Marina, it has grown into a major event with three stages.
The BCYA were there with a drinks reception and best dressed boat competition which was won by Cardiff boat "Supermac" Huge congratulations to The 85ers and Portishead Marina for making it all happen.
